Professional Trail Design and Construction in Rutland, VT

We are a Vermont trail builder of mountain bike trails, walking paths, garden paths, and multi-use trails, specializing in native surface machine-made trails and hardened aggregate trail construction

Our trail layout, trail design, trail construction, and trail maintenance are informed by the United States Forest Service and the International Mountain Bike Association trail specifications

Clients range from private landowners and businesses, town and state agencies, nonprofits, and land conservation groups. We work with Vermont Mountain Bike Association chapters to build singletrack, doubletrack, and aggregate paths as a VMBA preferred trail builder

We built this bike-optimized switchback as part of native surface mountain bike trail with the Mad River Riders Chapter of VMBA in Waitsfield, VT.

This banked turn is insloped to direct runoff away from the traveled surface. Trail hardening at the exit of the turn allows water to escape at the bottom.
